Please welcome Daniel Oreskovic

Hey everyone,We are very, very excited to introduce Daniel Oreskovic as the new guitarist in sleepmakeswaves! You might have already heard Dan in the mighty Meniscus, who he'll continue to helm while playing with us.Dan's played around the same traps as us for many years and we've shared many stages around Australia. We've always been massive fans of his killer riffs, pedal-dancing mastery and one-of-a-kind energy. Needless to say, we're absolutely stoked to see what the future holds, on stage and on record.Here is a message from Dan:I’ve known this fine group of people for the better part of the last decade, and having witnessed their incredible journey to-date, I’m truly excited to be a part of this next chapter in the SMW adventure. I look forward to challenging myself and the rest of the guys and to continue blowing people’s minds in all corners of the globe. I also want to acknowledge Kid, who has left behind a solid legacy, and a giant pair of shoes, that I will do my best to fill.  Dan.The departure of Kid, a founding member of nine years, left a big space to fill and we jammed with several old and new friends as part of the audition process. Everyone brought a unique and compelling vibe that was all their own, making the final call a very hard one. We had a wonderful time jamming with you all - thank you. We'd also like to shout-out our fans, our pals in other bands and our crew for the good vibes and support through this process.Dan's first show with us will be Tasmania's Party in The Paddock on February 19th. Then a whole bunch of other shows in a whole bunch of other places we're itching to announce really soon.
